Tammy Nijssen 760-247-0690

Tammy’s music career began at the age of eight, with the clarinet.  Applying what she learned towards piano, Tammy taught herself, using old lesson books that her mother had used as a child.  At 12 years old, she started taking piano lessons, and studied privately for 10 years.  She also attended college music courses, to further her musical knowledge.  Tammy loves to play piano, and currently performs in her church praise band.  She thoroughly enjoys any opportunity to play for others, including at weddings, as well as with church congregations and choirs.  This passion for performing has translated into a passion for teaching which she has been doing for over 25 years.  Tammy believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn how to read and play music, so she enjoys teaching people of all ages.
